Calling all parish youth who are 1) previously trained as an Altar Server and 2) those interested in becoming an Altar Server at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. The only qualification needed for a new Altar Server is that you must have at least entered 3rd grade but we would also like to encourage all youth in our parish including middle and high schoolers to consider becoming an Altar Server. This is a wonderful opportunity for the youth of our parish, regardless of their age, to serve the Lord and the parishioners of SEAS in a very special way. It is also a great way for your child or children to feel a great sense of pride and accomplishment each time they serve. Training will take place in the church on Wednesday December 29, at 9:30AM and will last about an hour and a half. We encourage all parents to please discuss this with your child or children and to discover if this opportunity is something they would enjoy. To assist their child in serving at Mass or to ask any questions parents/guardians are also encouraged to stay and attend this meeting. For your convenience, there are parent/guardian permission slips located on the table in the Gathering Area that you can fill out and drop into the offertory box after you leave Mass this weekend.
