Seminarian, Brendan Foley, to serve at St. EAS for a year
Brendan Foley will move into the rectory and spend a year living and working at the parish as part of his preparation for priesthood. Brendan is a native of Binghamton and graduate of the University of Scranton. After college, he volunteered for a year (serving refugees in Syracuse, among other things) before entering St. Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore, where he has been studying Philosophy and Theology. This summer he served as a hospital chaplain intern at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. He will take a break from formal course work for an internship, called a “pastoral year.”
We welcome Brendan to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and look forward to the many ways he will bless our parish family.
