There were so many kind words and gifts showered upon me in my last days with you in Baldwinsville. It was a great gift to hear that our time journeying together, though brief, was fruitful. It was fruitful because we took meaningful and intentional steps toward Jesus. They were steps with Jesus as well. He is the true Good Shepherd. He is always caring for the flock. In the Eucharist, his life laid down becomes food for his people. While we labor in different corners of the vineyard, we will remain united in the Body of Christ. Be sure of my prayers for you, and I beg your prayers for my work and for the seminarians at Mount St. Mary’s who are striving to be conformed to Jesus, the Good Shepherd.
