Effective March 1, 2025, the diocese requires all liturgical ministers to complete Safe Environment training and undergo a criminal background check. The training date for Eucharistic Ministers is December 31, 2025.. For those who need re-certification, please check the diocese website for available dates. Beginning September 1, 2025, all Sacristans, Adult Altar Servers and Lectors must complete Safe Environment training by June 30, 2026. Please refer to the above article regarding training times and registration information. Members of the Music Ministry, which includes choir members and instrumentalists must complete Safe Environment training by March 31, 2026.
