Start the New Year celebrating Mary  Join us on Monday for 10:00am Mass as we celebrate the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God.  It is not a Holy Day of Obligation this year. However, it is a great way to start your new year.

Holy Days of Obligation in 2024  Each Sunday we are obligated to attend Mass and on various Solemnities throughout the year.  When those Holy Days occur on Sunday, it is easy to remember to attend.  Other days, though, need to be put in our calendars ahead of time, so that they don’t get away from us.  This year, plan to join us at Mass on: The other days this year are as follows: May 9 (Solemnity of the Ascension), August 15 (Solemnity of the Assumption),  November 1 (Solemnity of All Saints), and December 25 (Solemnity of the Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ).  Whenever January 1, or August 15, or November 1, falls on a Saturday or on a Monday, the precept to attend Mass is abrogated.
