As we heard last weekend, Father O’Connor has been asked, and Bishop Lucia has given his blessing and permission for Fr. O’Connor to begin serving as the Vice Rector and Coordinator of Human Formation at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD. This new assignment begins on August 1st and will be for a term of five years. Bishop Lucia will be announcing his plan for the pastoral care of our parishes. Father O’Connor’s last weekend at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church will be July 26-27.
